The management of the National Service Scheme has extended the deadline for the 2018/2019 service year registration to June 20, 2018 instead of the May 31,2018 deadline.
In a statement issued on Tuesday,May 30,the scheme urged all prospective national service personnel who for “varied reasons have not yet been able to complete their registration processes to take advantage of the extension in order to avoid been locked out”.
The management of the scheme also implored prospective personnel who do not have any form of valid identification for registration to visit any SSNIT office across the country to obtain a SSNIT card to enable them go through the NSS registration without difficulties.
The scheme further cautioned prospective personnel they would be prosecuted if found guilty of impersonation.
