A 58-year-old teacher at Oda Senior High School in the Birim Central Municipality has been found dead in his room at the school’s teachers’ bungalow.
The deceased, identified as Mr. Okyere Asamoah, popularly known as “Man No,” was a Business Management teacher at the school.
According to sources, concerns were raised after Mr. Asamoah failed to report to school for three consecutive days. Colleagues, upon checking on him, discovered his lifeless body in his room.
The police have since conveyed the body to the morgue for preservation and autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
The incident has left staff and students of the school in shock, with many expressing sadness over the sudden loss.
Authorities say investigations are ongoing.
