In a heartwarming display of kindness and generosity, the Ɔdadeɛ ’96 Association made a significant donation to the Greater Accra Regional Hospital’s Paediatric Department on Valentine’s Day morning.
The association, comprised of compassionate and philanthropic individuals, presented a cheque of GHS GHS 50,000 to cover the medical expenses of three young patients, another GHS 24000 to purchase a much-needed cardiac monitor for the paediatric department. The group also replaced a broken bench for the unit.
The donation ceremony, held at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, was attended by members of the Ɔdadeɛ ’96 Association, medical doctors from the Paediatric Unit, and the families of the beneficiary children.
Speaking at the ceremony, the President of the Ɔdadeɛ ’96 Association, Mr. Emmanuel Kofi Ansah, emphasized the importance of giving back to the community, especially on a day like Valentine’s Day, which celebrates love and kindness.
“We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of these young children and their families,” said Mr Emmanuel Kofi Ansah. “We hope that our donation will inspire others to show love and compassion to those in need.”
The medical team at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital Paediatric Department expressed their gratitude to the Ɔdadeɛ ’96 Association for their kindness and generosity.
