Fans of Kumasi Asante Kotoko are calling for a reduction in ticket prices ahead of Sunday’s Super Clash between the Porcupine Warriors and Hearts of Oak.
The chairman of the Ashanti Regional Circles Obeng Sekyere made this known to the Ghana News Agency.
“They are charging GH¢100.00, GH¢50.00, GH¢20.00 and GH¢10.00 for the VVIP, VIP, Center line and the popular stands respectively.
“The supporters are saying that it’s quite unusual for them and therefore they need a reduction. I would talk to the leaders and see if they could do something about it for us,” Obeng added.
Asante Kotoko will be hosting arch rivals Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on 6th August, 2017, their first competitive game after their involvement in a fatal accident 12th July, losing their Deputy Equipment Manager Thomas Asare.
