Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra has made history with the appointment of Silvia Rajniak as its first female General Manager.
With more than 16 years of hospitality experience, Rajniak re-joins the hotel as a visionary leader tasked with elevating guest experience at Ghana’s flagship five-star luxury property.
Her career with Kempinski began in 2009 as Personal Assistant to the General Manager. She later rose through the ranks, holding senior roles across Europe and Africa, including her previous position as Hotel Manager of Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra. Most recently, she served as General Manager at Kempinski Hotel Soma Bay in Egypt.
Commenting on her appointment, Rajniak said: “Ghana has always felt like home. I am honoured to take on the role of General Manager. Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra is very close to my heart, and with the support of our wonderful team, I am confident we will take this property to new heights.”
The hotel, which boasts 269 elegant rooms and suites, is marking its 10th anniversary this year with a series of initiatives to appreciate employees, partners and the local community. Highlights include the launch of ASANA Bar & Kitchen, a new Asian-fusion restaurant and bar, as well as corporate social responsibility activities under its ‘10 Acts of Kindness’ programme.
Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City remains a benchmark for luxury accommodation and service quality within Ghana’s growing tourism and hospitality sector.
