Mobile giant MTN Ghana has presented gifts to children born on Christmas day at the Upper West Regional Hospital in Wa on Tuesday.
Mothers who had just delivered and those who were recovering from surgical operations could be seen beaming with smiles after the kind donations were made at each bedside.
A total of 30 parcels were distributed in the region including the St. Joseph Hospital in Jirapa. Each baby received a hamper containing diapers, baby powder, court sheet, cream, soap, detergent, washing powder, and some call credits to the mothers.

Seth Owusu Nyamekye who led the team to the hospital, said it is an annual event that MTN Ghana has taken upon themselves to give to babies born on Christmas Day as part of their social responsibility.
“This is an annual event that we usually do and we just give back to the society once again. We are just here to donate to them in thirty pieces. We are doing Jirapa and Wa Municipal Hospital for this year” he remarked.
The mothers openly thanked the team for the gifts while the doctors gladly presented them with the baby hampers.
