Women’s Football legend, Habiba Atta has been elected to represent women’s football on the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association on Thursday.
The Kumasi based Fabulous Ladies FC owner won the seat by a single vote as she faced a stiffer opposition from Evelyn Nsiah Otchere.
Out of the 16 delegates that voted, Habiba had 8 votes, followed by Evelyn Nsiah 7 votes, Rosalind Amoah with 1 vote and Edna had zero.
The next set of election is between Regional Football Association Chairman to select two candidates onto the Executive Council.
