Dancehall sensation and philanthropist Jafaro Mohammed popularly known as Adiself has been adjudged the Best Dancehall artist and Artist of the Year at the recently held Face of Ghana Youth Awards in Accra.
Adiself’s manager, Nana Yaw Fosuhene Kye, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Yard Base, a print and design hub also received a citation for his outstanding contribution to the development of society and positive impact on the youth.

Adiself rose to fame as a member of the Militant Group and has since churned out hit songs including “Baba God” which features Mugeez produced by Jonny Blaze from Jamaica and Stadics from the USA.
His high moment in the music industry was when he topped the Apple and iTunes African music charts for a week ahead of African greats Burna Boy and Davido with his album “Zongo to BBC”.
The Self Nation Boss has performed to massive crowds in Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi and is ready to entertain fans in other African countries.
This award adds up to other awards received by the dancehall sensation within a few years of becoming a solo artist.
Adiself recognizes the support of his loyal fans and is poised to work harder for international recognition and possible collaborations with great African music stars and the best producers ever in the international music scene.
