MTN Ghana, the official headline sponsor of the Ghana Black Stars has flown 163 lucky customers on an all-expenses-paid trip to La Côte D’Ivoire from 13th to 23rd January 2024.

This amazing offer comes as a special loyalty package to selected customers.  These customers will have the unique opportunity to witness the Ghana Group matches and cheer the Black Stars to the next round

Customers and MTN employees who were selected were thrilled to have the opportunity to experience the tournament

This forms part of a series of exciting Initiatives MTN is rolling out to elevate AFCON 2023 experience for football fans.

AFCON 2023 Updates via Ayoba

To keep fans updated on the latest happenings within the Black Stars camp, MTN Ghana will share regular AFCON 2023 updates through the Ayoba Messaging App. Supporters are encouraged to download the Ayoba app from the App Store or Google Play to stay informed about the team’s progress and other exciting stories.

Spreading the love of the Black Stars through Watch Parties

Additionally, MTN Ghana, in collaboration with Max TV, will host watch parties in selected locations across the country. These events promise enhanced viewing experiences on wide screens, complete with immersive build-up activities such as cheerleading, trivia, as well as the chance to win exciting prizes and souvenirs from MTN.

Adwoa Afriyie Wiafe, the Chief Corporate Services and Sustainability Officer at MTN Ghana, expressed pride in being the driving force behind bringing Ghanaians closer to the Black Stars and the AFCON experience. She stated, “This is our way of celebrating our love for football and the unifying power it brings. We can’t wait to witness the passion and unwavering support of Ghanaians, both in the Ivory Coast and across the nation, as we cheer on the Black Stars to victory.”

Highlighting their commitment to the national team, Madam Wiafe reiterated MTN Ghana’s dedication to supporting assignments that bring joy, unity, and pride to the country. As headline sponsors, MTN Ghana’s sponsorship deal, signed two years ago, covers the Black Stars for both the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and the ongoing 2024 African Cup of Nations in La Côte D’Ivoire.

The telecom giant reiterated its commitment to leading digital solutions to drive Africa’s progress.
