Voting officially begins at 7:00 AM, but in New Juaben South, eager voters began arriving at polling stations as early as 3:00 AM to secure their place in line.
A visit to some polling stations this morning revealed that many of the early voters were elderly individuals determined to cast their ballots without delay.
At the Pentecost Church polling stations “A” and “B” in Two Streams, about 15 voters were already in line when I arrived.
Similarly, at Betom Adontoa polling stations “A” and “B,” the situation was the same, with a steady stream of voters. By 5:00 AM, officials from the Electoral Commission had almost completed preparations for the election to commence.
Among the early voters is a woman who claims to be an SDA church member.
She tells me she is not supposed to be here to vote but she has to exercise her franchise hence has sneaked to do.
“No I won’t grant interview. I don’t want my face to go out. I am SDA you know we are not supposed to take part but I have to exercise my franchise”

However, challenges have been reported at the polling stations.
The Challenge here is that some of the ballot papers do not have serial numbers others too the serial numbers do not follow in order.
