Staff of Ghana National Gas Limited Company (Ghana Gas) on Friday, joined thousands of Ghanaians across the country in the National Clean-Up Exercise, demonstrating the company’s commitment to environmental cleanliness and public health.
Employees at the company’s headquarters and operational sites took part in a range of sanitation activities, including sweeping, weeding, clearing overgrown vegetation, desilting drains and cleaning gutters within and around their work environments.

The nationwide exercise forms part of the National Clean-Up Campaign launched by President John Dramani Mahama under the theme, “Our Action, Our Future: Cleaning Ghana After the Floods.” The initiative aims to improve sanitation in communities affected by recent flooding while encouraging citizens to take collective responsibility for protecting the environment.

At the Ghana Gas Head Office, the exercise was attended by the Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Dumelo, who joined management and staff in cleaning the surrounding areas.
Ghana Gas says its participation reflects its continued support for national efforts to promote environmental sustainability and improve public health. The company also urged all Ghanaians to contribute to keeping their communities clean, safe and resilient against future environmental challenges.
