The Global Advisory Board member and strategic partner for Sub-Saharan Africa at Ignite Social Enterprises, Nathan Kwabena Adisi, popularly known as Bola Ray, has emphasized that the group does not condone fraud, deception, or any activity that breaks the law.
The group, the respected media magnate and entrepreneur emphasized is built on integrity and honesty and one which strictly enforces its procedures.
“Being associated with our brand gives no one, and absolutely no one, the permission to operate outside our procedures. We have strict guidelines, we have procedures, and if people fall foul of it, certainly we will crack the whip,” he said. “We don’t operate outside our procedures or Ghanaian law…And IGNITE does not condone fraud, deception, or any activity that breaks the law,” he said at a press briefing which outlined the main functions of the international brand.
Bola Ray noted that unscrupulous individuals who sometimes misuse the brand are dealt with promptly when such cases are reported. He referenced a recent collaboration with immigration authorities in Nigeria where people who were reported for using Ignite’s name for negative activities were apprehended.
Adisi clarified that Ignite is an independently owned corporate enterprise with no parent-subsidiary relationship and urged the public to stop associating professionals who have moved with the brand.

“A person’s past does not create a corporate or legal or financial link between companies,” he stated…they’ve moved on, set up something new, and they are responsible for what they’ve set up, which is IGNITE…. let’s look at the structures, not the assumptions,” he urged.
Mr Adisi further educated that Ignite is a product distribution company and does not offer investments, guaranteed returns or deposit schemes.
“We do not raise capital from the public. So anybody that comes to you and say, ‘oh, IGNITE says pay this and they have an investment scheme or is a deposit scheme,’ please let them know that that is a total scam,” Adisi said.
“Anyone using our name IGNITE to promise investment packages is doing so without authorisation… and we’ll let the law take its course.”
According to him, the company has attracted more than 700,000 brand affiliates in about five months since its public launch, describing the growth as unprecedented.
Looking ahead, Adisi said Ignite aims to sustain its presence across Sub-Saharan Africa by strengthening existing markets and assessing new ones carefully on regulatory and opportunity grounds rather than expanding for expansion’s sake. Ghana will serve as a model market.
He confirmed that the company is establishing a physical office at Platinum Place in Ridge, Accra, which is expected to be commissioned soon adding that the company is collaborating with the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), the Ghana Police Service and the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB), and plans partnerships with the Ministry of Education.
“Ghana is where we build the model, then we replicate it market by market responsibly,” he said, inviting the media and public to engage the company directly once the Ridge office opens and contact numbers and a hotline are available.
Chief Market Development Officer for Ignite, Venu Johl, who is based in Dubai and has more than 20 years’ experience in the industry framed Ignite’s approach around personal choice and community.
“Every achievement begins with a choice. A choice to grow. A choice to learn. A choice to build a future with greater possibilities,” Johl said. “IGNITE brings together people who are committed to growth. Through mentorship, collaboration, and continuous learning, every member gains access to a community focused on progress and achievement.”
He further highlighted the company’s expanding product ecosystem.
