EU Ambassador names DBJ as personal Manager

The Ambassador of the European Union to Ghana, H.E Irchad Razaaly, has designated young Ghanaian talent manager Daniel Boifio Junior, also known as DBJ, as his personal manager.

Mr. Razaaly, recognises the unique and innovative style of management of DBJ, who was the personal manager of the outgoing France Ambassador to Ghana, H E Anne Sophie Avé, and also showed his gratitude for his untiring support over the past months.

In a tweet shared on his Twitter account on Thursday, September 1, the Ambassador congratulated DBJ on his new position and also acknowledged his talent.

He tweeted, ” Dear @DBJ_gh thank you for embarking in this new adventure with me. I know your talent, your drive and more importantly, your passion. I am so excited !!!”

Accepting this new mission, the Empire Sports Manager, DBJ, has guaranteed to put in his best to help the EU Ambassador achieve his aim in Ghana.

DBJ retweeted his appreciation and acceptance, “A New Chapter Begins! I’m humbled to officially announce that, I will be serving as the personal manager of the European Union Ambassador to Ghana  @IrchadR With his passion for innovation and the youth, I’m excited for the major impact he will have.

Speaking about his recent milestone, he said, “I will be playing an advisory role for his Excellency, and also be a bridge between him and the people that could help in expanding his horizons as someone who’s interested in exploring all sectors in Ghana.”

He added, “I will also be managing his interests and tying them to experiences that he can have that will help him get a better understanding of the Ghanaian culture so Ghanaians can see themselves in him and he can see himself in Ghanaians.”

DBJ’s focus as a personal manager is to make the Ambassador’s brand bigger than what it is already, “I will try and help him figure out ways in which he can use his influence and status to support Ghanaians because that’s what he’s interested in.”

About DBJ

DBJ is a football agent, a talent manager and an event planner.

Adjudged the Most Influential Youth Talent Manager in Ghana (2021) by the Ghana Influential Youth Award scheme, DBJ also manages businesswoman and oil tycoon Beatrice Mensah-Tayui and the biggest twitter influencer in Ghana, KalyJay.

He is the Chief Executive Officer of DBJ EMPIRE, an event planning organization and a media production hub with expertise in photography, videography, sound engineering, and talent management.

The mentee of  media entrepreneur, Bola Ray, DBJ was a photojournalist, writing for news websites like myjoyonline.com,  starrfm.com.gh,  ghanaweb.com and Ghanasoccernet.com which earned him the award for the most outstanding student photographer twice in a row in 2017 & 2018 as well as winning the award for most outstanding student writer in 2017 in the Ghana Tertiary Awards scheme. He later went on to receive the award as the overall influential student Valley View University, in 2019.

To make credible impact in the Ghanaian football industry, DBJ organizes scouting tournaments for young footballers who aspire to be on the world stage, and in the past has invited FIFA licensed agent Bernard Collignon and Sebastian Arnesen for scouting events in Ghana. His most recent justifies had over 2000 Ghanaian footballers register for it. DBJ was honoured in the Ghana 25 under 25 awards this year for his impact in sports.

He also organizes one of the biggest high school entertainment programs in Ghana, “HYDRA”. HYDRA inspires the youth through information, technology and innovation and has had guest speakers like Bola Ray, and last year the Ambassador of France to Ghana, HE Anne-Sophie Ave, was the guest speaker at the  2021 edition.
