Ghanaian-owned UK-based event hub, Mingles Entertainment, threw one of the most talked-about events of the season with their Sneakers Rave End of Summer party, held at Smade Lounge in London, on Saturday, August 31.

Sneakers Rave was a celebration of music, fashion, and good vibes. The event, which drew a vibrant crowd, brought together sneaker enthusiasts and music lovers for a night of dancing, fun, and cultural expression to celebrate the close of summer in style.

According to organisers, Sneakers Rave has quickly gained a reputation as a must-attend summer party, adding another feather to Mingles Entertainment’s cap of successful events.

The night was filled with high-energy performances from some of UK-based DJs, from Dj Wayne, Dj skinny, to  Dj SNEH from Nigeria and other musical talents. Known for their ability to blend Afrobeats, dancehall, and hip-hop, the DJs had the crowd dancing from start to finish.

UK-based artists NUA and Star Vicy brought the heat, while a lineup of guest artists took the energy to another level. The event had the Co-founder of Afronation, Smade as part of the attendees and other renowned content creators also joined the list of attendees. They were treated to a mix of chart-toppers and underground hits, all set to the backdrop of pulsating lights and immersive visuals.

Mingles Entertainment, known for its unique approach to event planning, once again demonstrated why it is one of the leading entertainment brands in the UK. The Sneakers Rave End of Summer party is part of a series of signature events that continue to raise the bar for nightlife and entertainment experiences in the country.

In a brief interview, with Mingles, CEO of the event hub, he expressed his excitement about the success of the event: “We’re grateful to all who came out and made this an unforgettable night.

“The Sneakers Rave may have marked the end of summer, but it is clear that Mingle Entertainment’s party season is just getting started.” he added

About Mingle Entertainment

Mingles Entertainment has proudly marked its fifth year in the entertainment industry, leaving an indelible impact on the UK’s event landscape. From hosting sell-out concerts to pioneering renowned summer parties, the brand has built a strong reputation for creating unforgettable experiences. Their journey, which began five years ago, has been marked by hard work, resilience, and an unrelenting passion for music and culture.

One of Mingles Entertainment’s defining moments was hosting one of the biggest music concerts in November 2019, a sold-out show at Timber Gardens in Croydon. The concert, which featured a star-studded lineup, attracted a massive crowd, cementing Mingles Entertainment’s place as a top-tier event organizer in the UK. The success of the Timber Gardens event propelled them into the spotlight, showcasing their ability to deliver high-quality, large-scale productions.

As they celebrate five years in the game, Mingles Entertainment shows no signs of slowing down. Their dedication to innovation, collaboration, and quality entertainment has ensured their longevity in a competitive industry. Whether it’s through their signature concerts, cutting-edge summer parties like Sneakers Rave, or their support for other promoters, Mingles Entertainment has proven that they are a force to be reckoned with.

Mingles Entertainment Marks 5 Years of Event Excellence: From ‘Shake A Leg with the Stars’ to ‘Sneaker Rave’

In an era where entertainment brands come and go, Mingles Entertainment has proven its staying power, marking five transformative years of reshaping the live event scene across the UK and beyond.

Since its inception, Mingles Entertainment has grown into a force to be reckoned with, crafting unforgettable experiences that blend music, culture, and entertainment for a diverse audience.

At the heart of its success lies an impressive portfolio of events, each one leaving a mark on the industry. One standout moment in the company’s journey came in November 2019, with the SHAKE A LEG WITH THE STARS concert held at the Timber Gardens in Croydon. This sold-out event became a defining moment for the brand, attracting a massive crowd and cementing its reputation for producing high-caliber shows.

The concert featured a star-studded lineup, including rising Ghanaian stars Fameye, Sista Afia, and Amerado, offering attendees a night of electrifying performances that would be remembered for years to come.

However, like many in the entertainment sector, Mingles Entertainment faced unprecedented challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. With the world in lockdown and live events on hold, the brand had to rethink its approach. But rather than retreat, Mingles Entertainment adapted, using the downtime to foster partnerships and collaborate with other promoters across the UK. Their resilience and forward-thinking ensured that when restrictions eased, Mingles Entertainment was poised to help revive the live event scene.

Their comeback was marked by the return of one of the UK’s most talked-about summer events—SNEAKERS RAVE. The 2024 edition, held on August 31st at London’s Smade Lounge, was a roaring success, drawing partygoers from across the city. With its unique mix of music, fashion, and high-energy vibes, Sneakers Rave has become synonymous with summer, growing into a flagship event for Mingles Entertainment.

Mingles Entertainment plans to take the Sneakers Rave global, with upcoming events scheduled in Ghana and other major cities across the UK. This international expansion is a bold move that underscores the brand’s ambitions to become a global entertainment powerhouse.

From its early days of hosting intimate concerts to now curating some of the UK’s most iconic events, the brand’s ability to evolve and innovate has positioned it as a leader in the industry.
