Former Presidential hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Agyapong has predicted victory for Vice President, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia in the upcoming Presidential primary of the party on 4th November 2023.
Mr. Agyapong made the prediction during the 10th Anniversary celebration of his late mother at Asokore Mampong Roman Catholic Church on 1st October, 2023.
The event was attended by Vice President Bawumia and his wife including the Ashanti regional chairman of the NPP, Bernard Antwi Boasiko, Simon Osei Mensah Ashanti regional minister, Chairman of the Ashanti Parliamentary Caucus Emmanuel Adjei Anhwere among other regional executives of the party.
In his appreciation remarks Mr. Kwabena Agyapong commended the Vice President, the regional executives of the party for demonstrating their love to his family.
“I would like to thank Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for making time to celebrate the 10-years anniversary of my late mother and making us proud. We play for God’s fullness over his life responsibilities as the Vice President of Ghana to make his dreams and good thoughts for Ghana a reality. There’s a big victory before you! God bless the Vice President,’’ he prayed.
The comments from Mr. Agyapong attracted applause from the congregation at the church.
A section of supporters of the former Trade minister Alan Kyeremang before his resignation from the New Patriotic Party were also seen at the event to also demonstrate their love and care to the Agyapong Family.
