Ghanaian dancehall stars Shatta Wale and Epixode have officially secured submissions for consideration at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards.
According to submission summaries from the Recording Academy, Shatta Wale’s ‘Street Crown’ and Epixode’s ‘Chooboi’ have both been entered in the Best African Music Performance category.
Shatta Wale’s submission carries entry number 015876, while Epixode’s is listed under 022044.
The Recording Academy confirmed that all entries undergo a strict verification process to ensure proper categorization and fairness. The two artists now await the official nominations, which will determine whether they move forward to compete on music’s biggest stage.
