Six passengers, including three students, have reportedly died in a fatal crash on Monday afternoon near Ause junction stretch of Akosombo to Tema Highway in Eastern Region.
Four of the victims reportedly died on the spot, while two others were pronounced dead on arrival at the St. Martin de Porres Catholic Hospital in Agormanya.
Several others are currently receiving emergency medical treatment.

The victims were passengers traveling from Madina to Ho in a Toyota Hiace van with registration number GS 6374-22.
The cause of the crash is not yet known but witnesses say a private vehicle occupied by old students of Mawuli Senior High School returning to Accra overtook some vehicles but in the process one of its tyres got burst colliding with the passenger vehicle.
