Fredrick Adu Ansah known in the showbiz arena as Slim Souljah is one of the few budding acts who have really been through the hussle and acquired the needed skills and experiences to succeed in the music industry.
The versatile artist who doubles as a sound engineer began his journey over and decade ago and was nurtured by hiplife legend Okomfuo Kwadae and ace producer cum rapper Red Eye of 2Toff fame. His new single “True Story” which is receiving massive airplay is an afro dancehall track on the “heart and soul” Jamaican ridim with conscious inspirational lyrics inspired by the experiences he has been through in the journey of life. Slim Souljah has worked with artists like 2Toff, Guru and mercury Quaye.
His debut album which will include hip-hop, reggae, afro dancehall and hiplife will be launched in 2019 with likely collaborations with the celebrated and talented dancehall trio Samini, Shatta wale and Stonebwuoy. He is poised to make an impact with his music and ready to work with other creative acts in the country and the continent at large.
