In today’s fast-paced environment, it’s easy to lose track of how productive you can be on a daily basis. Many of us are unaware that the secret to the most productive work flow is in the palm of our hands. With your smart phone, the possibilities for what it means to be productive are limitless. So, whether you’re on the job, approaching deadlines for tasks, or simply looking for a workflow that takes your productivity to new heights, here are 5 free applications you can download right now that will help you understand and keep up with the modern productivity trend.

1. Notion

Notion is an application that a lot of people may struggle to get behind on first download, but the progression of understanding is easy and comes with a ton of benefits. Notion is your mobile office in one application, with collaborative features, real-time alerts and timelines of tasks, and a to-do list feature that keeps you on your toes on those days where you don’t know what lies ahead of you. With AI additions and extensions across the Notion platform, staying on top of tasks gets unbelievably easy.  Want to dive into the expansive benefits of Notion? Simply download a template that works best for you and dive right in!

2. Notion Calendar

For those days when you’re scheduling calls with big clients and you just don’t know when or how to go about it, Notion Calendar is the best tool for you. Previously called “Cron Calendar,” Notion Calendar makes scheduling meetings, calls, events, and creating to-do lists simple and fast. One thing about calendar apps that may be a caveat is how full and clunky their interfaces appear, but with Notion Calendar, the outlook and user experience are easy to understand and work around. Simply sign in with your email (you have the freedom to add as many emails to your Notion Calendar as possible) and get to planning.

3. Slack

One thing about managing teams and large cooperative entities is that sometimes it gets very difficult to get real-time responses. Slack changes that, as it is not just a messaging platform that helps to make corporate conversations easy; it comes packed with many add-ons and extensions to be the app you need to power everything else. Slack has compatibility with Notion, Google Drive, and other extensions, so you can attend to that pressing task right in the application. That’s one less app to open and one more second to get your task accomplished. With Slack, conversations within a working cooperation are made simple, and for those “all hands-on deck” instances, a huddle feature is available, which brings everyone on a call.

4. WeTransfer

When you’re dealing with videos and footage in large quantities and you need an immediate response or a quick edit, sometimes an email just doesn’t cut it. That is where WeTransfer comes in. With WeTransfer, file types of varying sizes and formats can be shared very easily, with the use of a custom WeTransfer web link. All links shared are end-to-end encrypted, so you are guaranteed that your confidential projects stay confidential. With WeTransfer, sharing large files is easy, but so is editing. With an array of tools to edit your files in whatever size they may be, larger storage capacities, and a space for comments for others to leave notes and suggestions, WeTransfer remains the simplest project and work on tasks, paving a new path for what productivity can look like.

5. Spark Email

We are in a generation where email clients are expected to do a lot more for us than just send and receive emails. With Spark email as your email client, you’ll always stay on top of what’s most important to you right when they come in. Supercharged with AI advancements, you’ve never mastered your email as professionally. Spark comes with features and layouts that prioritize your email, allowing you to clear through the clutter and find the messages that are most important. With the option and availability to take your email use to different levels with the app’s interface and task-oriented layout, which allows you to split your subscriptions from your main inbox (a feature you would never know you needed until you tried it), Spark Email is everything and more to keep you afloat when you’re drowning in emails.

With these applications ready to go, your era of productivity is going to be impactful and fun, because it’s not enough to simply work hard; you get to work smart with them as well.
