A new poll by Global InfoAnalytics has revealed that there is significant anxiety among delegates of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) regarding the lack of job opportunities.
The poll states that 78% of NDC delegates have expressed deep concern over the lack of job opportunities in the country.
The majority of the respondents, however, expressed strong hope of a positive change in the near future – 13% of the delegates are not concerned, and 9% are neither concerned nor unconcerned
Also, 88% of delegates indicated they are hopeful that the employment situation will improve soon, with only 3% saying they are not hopeful, while nearly 9% remain uncertain about the future outlook.
The poll, which employed random probability sampling, was administered through Computer Assisted Telephone Interviews (CATI).
Nearly 10,400 delegates across all 16 regions of Ghana between 31st March and 9th April 2026 were surveyed.
The survey also revealed that Chairman of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia is in a commanding lead in the NDC flagbearer race.
Finance Minister, Ato Forson, Education Minister, Haruna Iddrissu, Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah and Vice President, Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang were listed as people interested in leading the ruling political party.
