A suicide note has been found at the scene where a young man believed to be associated with the “Sakawa” practice, was discovered dead by suicide.
The suicide note sheds light on the young man’s inner turmoil.
The note read, “Oh God, please forgive me! If found, please sell my house property. Please help my mother, Martha Yaa Baby. RIP to my soul.”
A young man believed to be in his early thirties identified as Yaw Christopher popular called Chris was found hanging dead in his apartment at Dabiasem, a suburb of New Juaben North municipality of Eastern region on Wednesday November 8, 2023
Residents of Dabiasem were jolted by the grim discovery of Yaw Christopher’s lifeless body in his room at about 10:am.
According to residents, Yaw Christopher had been present in his room throughout the previous afternoon showing no visible sign of depression.
Yaw Christopher’s lifeless body has been transported to St. Joseph’s Mortuary in Effiduase for subsequent examination and post-mortem procedures.
The circumstances surrounding this untimely loss are currently under investigation by Effiduase District Police Command.
