Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is currently on an inspection tour of Parliament following last night’s rainfall.
It follows media reports that parts of the chamber was leaking badly during the downpour.
StarrFMonline.com obtained images where several receptacles were being used to soak water from leaking roof of the chamber.
The situation forced the members, who were deliberating over a bill, to adjourn sitting.
The Vice President, according to Starr News’ Ibrahim Alhassan , is visiting the House to receive a first-hand information on the extent of damage.
