The Executive Director for Global InfoAnalystics, Musah Dankwah says the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) cannot win Abokobi Women’s Development Centre 2 polling station at Dome Kwabenya in the Greater Accra region.
This comes on the back of the Electoral Commission’s Director of Training, Dr. Serebour Quaicoe, announcing the rerun for the polling station.
According to him, it is due to the absence of a pink sheet for the Abokobi Women’s Development Centre 2 polling station.
The Abokobi Women Development Center was collated on the wrong form which has necessitated a re-run of that pooling station.
Even though, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) thinks that the re-run will not change anything the NPP is confident that the re-run could do magic for them.
But, speaking on Starr Today with Joshua Kodjo Mensah, Mr. Dankwah disclosed that the area is NDC’s stronghold and there is no way the NPP can win that particular polling station.
“If you look at the polling station, it serves the local community, the Abokobi area and I don’t think the turn-out will be keenly higher than what we saw on election day. That polling station has always been an NDC polling station.
“I do not see how NPP is going to win that polling station. Indeed, on election night the NDC candidate won 66% of the vote in that polling station. As to how they can turn that number upside down I really can’t see,” Mr. Dankwah stated.
