Nigerian artist Ogbe Japhet, better known as Brosthrone, is quickly making a name for himself in the music scene with his unique blend of Afrobeats and Amapiano.
Hailing from Benin City and signed to Throne Records, Brosthrone’s career took off three years ago, and he has since captivated audiences with his dynamic stage presence and infectious sound.
2024 was a breakthrough year for Brosthrone, marked by the release of his highly praised EP, BigGodSzn, which showcased his versatility. The project featured notable collaborations with Nigerian stars like Zlatan on “Neighborhood Hero,” Odumodu Blavk on “Reckless,” ASAP and Blaqbones, and Alpha P on “Alive.” Later that year, he further solidified his presence with the release of the hit single “Jesu,” which quickly gained traction and added to his growing fanbase.
Brosthrone’s momentum carried into 2025, with the release of his party anthem “How Far” on January 31st. The single, released by Throne Records, has already become a nationwide hit, capturing attention across Nigeria and beyond. With this infectious track, Brosthrone is poised to reach even greater heights in the music industry.
Currently in Ghana for a media and club tour, Brosthrone is making waves in Accra. He has made appearances at top TV and radio stations and performed at some of the city’s most popular nightclubs, including Mood Bar, Kruna, Club Rave, Mad Club, Exhale Lounge, and London Bar.
